YMCA Thodupuzha was started in the year 1995 with Mr K.M Mathew Kandirickal as the charter president. Since then YMCA is a serving the society through various charity projects ,hostel, gymnasium and other sports activities. With the support of the visionary leaders in the founding team, YMCA could own 35 cents of land in the heart of Thodupuzha.
Its a long term ambition come true for all the YMCA members when the new YMCA centre is inaugurated on 27th may 2018. Today YMCA has 302 life members and is governed by a strong director board of 19 members.
The YMCA Centre is a 6000 sq ft Complex with a 9 room guest house and a 25 metre 4 track swimming pool. The Business area of the YMCA centre consists of a spacious reception area, Board room, cafeteria and refreshment area.
The complex also has a 25 metre 4 track swimming pool managed by Thoppans’ swimming centre.
The guest house is in the first floor of YMCA centre. There are 9 spacious well furnished rooms including two suite rooms. All rooms are available for guests and Ymca members are eligible for special discounts.
